The Fairview Township Police Department does Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) verifications for Township residents. A VIN Verification is required when:

• A vehicle is brought into Pennsylvania that was titled and/or registered out of state/country.
• A purchased vehicle is brought into Pennsylvania and the title was issued from another sate/country.
• A correction is required on the title pertaining to the vehicle description.
