The mission of the Narcotics Enforcement Unit is to combat the illegal drug trade and its associated criminal activity, thereby enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Lycoming County. We are committed to:

• Disrupting and dismantling drug trafficking organizations and criminal enterprises;
• Reducing the availability of illegal drugs and drug-related violence;
• Collaborating with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices;
• Providing education and awareness to the community about the dangers of drug abuse and addiction;
• Gun Crimes: aggressively prosecuting individuals who illegally possess or use firearms, and working to reduce gun violence in our community.
• Gang Violence: targeting and prosecuting gang members who engage in criminal activity, and working to disrupt and dismantle gang organizations.
