I am deeply honored and humbled to have been appointed Chief of Police of the Upper Saucon Township Police Department. To me, leadership is not defined by authority, but by service - service to our community, to the men and women who wear the badge, and to the principles that unite and guide us. It means showing up, being accountable, and staying closely connected to the people we are sworn to protect and serve.
I believe a leader’s first responsibility is to listen, to understand, and to empower others to succeed. I am sincerely grateful for the trust placed in me by this community, the township's administration, and the Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors. I hold these responsibilities with great respect and commitment.
I look forward to working alongside our dedicated officers, community partners, and residents to continue building a department grounded in trust, transparency, and collaboration. Together, we will strengthen the safety and well‑being of Upper Saucon Township and ensure that every individual feels seen, heard, and protected. I am excited for what we will accomplish as a team and honored to serve this community in the days ahead.
With sincerity and appreciation,
Michael C. Fritts, Chief of Police
