LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function has filed a written allegation against a 17 year-old juvenile, alleging they committed the crimes of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (DUI), Purchase, Consumption, Possession or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverages, Minor Prohibited from Operating with Any Alcohol in System and Junior Driver's License. 

On 03/26/2023 around 12:19 am, the vehicle being driven by the juvenile was stopped for a traffic violation that occurred in the 700 Block of South Broad Street (SR0501). It is alleged that the juvenile was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The juvenile was taken into custody and transported to the LBPD where the provided evidential samples of their breath. A BrAC of 0.101% was obtained. The juvenile was released from custody and has been summoned to appear in juvenile court.

The juvenile is presumed innocent.
