The LBPD investigated a hit and run crash that occurred on 01/04/2021 at 3:09pm in the parking lot of the Warwick Middle School.

A vehicle driven by Maribel JOVEL ROMERO, age 44, of Lititz, struck a parked vehicle while leaving a parked position.  Witnesses relayed a description of JOVEL ROMERO’s vehicle and reported she had left the scene.  Officers were able to locate and stop JOVEL ROMERO several blocks away.  Officers then discovered that JOVEL ROMERO did not possess a driver’s license.  No one was injured in the collision but the parked vehicle was disabled and required towing.  Traffic citations has been filed against JOVEL ROMERO for accidents involving damage to unattended vehicles and drivers required to be licensed.    

JOVEL ROMERO is presumed innocent.
