The LBPD offers a variety of ways to make a police report. You can make a report via any of the following methods:
- EMERGENCIES dial or text 911 (crimes in-progress, other events in-progress, danger to life or property and traffic, roadway, infrastructure and public utility problems).
- ONLINE: www.lititzpd.org
- EMAIL: tips@lititzpd.org
- PHONE: (717) 626-6393
- IN-PERSON: Officers will utilize social distancing where appropriate and possible.
The LBPD offers this variety not only in response to COVID-19 mitigation efforts, but to maximize the ability of people to use alternative reporting methods - to the extent possible. Social distancing, stay-at-home compliance and other current conditions may make it difficult for people to report crime and other concerns to police in a traditional and timely manner. The LBPD understands these barriers and is proactively taking measures to ensure we remain accessible to all those who are in need of assistance, understanding some people may need alternative methods.
EMERGENCIES should always be reported by dialing or texting 911. Remember, if you text 911, the call-taker will not automatically get your location which they would have if you called by phone. You will need to text your location to 911.
Our alternative methods should be reserved for non-emergency incidents which are not in-progress.
We respectfully ask that you do not use social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) to report ANY incidents. Social media is not intended or designed to receive reports.
The LBPD remains committed and fully-prepared to respond to all calls for service and we encourage everyone to immediately report any concern or issue using any of the available methods.
