FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 11/27/2019 at 7:59 PM at the intersection of South Broad Street (SR0501) and West Orange Street (SR0772).

A vehicle driven by Virginia WEAVER (age 61), of Lititz, was traveling south-bound on South Broad Street and is alleged to have failed to stop for the red traffic light.  This resulted in WEAVER striking a vehicle driven by William ROTHENBERGER (age 35), of Lititz, who was traveling west-bound.  This collision caused ROTHENBERGER's vehicle to strike an east-bound vehicle driven by Cody MAY (age 20), of Lititz.  No injuries were reported but all three vehicles required towing from the scene.  A summary traffic citation has been filed against WEAVER, alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Traffic Control Signals.  WEAVER has been summoned to respond to District Court.

WEAVER is presumed innocent.
