FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 09/18/2019 at 7:13 AM on North Broad Street (SR0501) at the intersection of East Market Street.

A vehicle driven by Kristen M. LEFEVER (age 39), of Lititz, attempted to pull across both lanes of travel of North Broad Street, failing to yield to the right-of-way of a vehicle traveling north-bound, driven by Michael T. TORRES (age 56), of Myerstown.  No injuries were reported but both vehicles required towing.  A summary traffic citation was filed against LEFEVER alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Vehicle Entering or Crossing Roadway.  LEFEVER has been summoned to respond to District Court.

LEFEVER is presumed innocent.
