LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 08/29/2020 at 2:35 PM at the intersection of South Broad Street (SR0501) & West Sixth Street.

A vehicle driven by David MEASE (age 20), of Stevens, failed to stop for a steady-red traffic light and struck a vehicle driven by Michael HESS (age 63), of Lititz, which resulted in HESS' vehicle striking a vehicle driven by Joseph MARTZ (age 46), of Lititz.  No injuries were reported but all three vehicles sustained disabling damage and required towing.  A summary traffic citation was filed against MEASE, alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Traffic-Control Signals. MEASE has been summoned to respond to District Court.

MEASE is presumed innocent.
