LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 12/28/2020 at 8:16 AM at the intersection of South Broad Street (SR0501) & E/W Sixth Street.

A vehicle driven by Michael R. MEYERS, age 45, of Lititz, failed to stop for the red traffic signal and was struck by a vehicle driven by Calvin D. FLORA, age 29, of Bernville.  MEYERS sustained a non-life threatening injury as the result of the crash and both vehicles required towing.  A summary traffic citation has been filed alleging that MEYERS violated PA Vehicle Code section Traffic-Control Signals.  MEYERS has been summoned to respond to District Court.

MEYERS is presumed innocent.
