LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 12/23/2020 at 6:25 AM at the intersection of North Broad Street (SR0501) & North Lane.

A vehicle driven by Randy W. BRANDT, age 20, of Lititz, failed to stop for a vehicle ahead of him which had stopped, resulting in BRANDT striking that vehicle, which was driven by Angie E. LEFEVER, age 49, of Lancaster.  No injuries were reported, but BRANDT's vehicle required towing.  A summary traffic citation has been filed against BRANDT, alleging he committed the traffic offense of Following too closely.  BRANDT has been summoned to respond to District Court.

BRANDT is presumed innocent.
