LITITZ BOROUGH - The LBPD patrol function investigated a crash that occurred on 11/19/2020 at 5:29 PM in the 000 Block of West Second Avenue.

A vehicle driven by a 17 year-old juvenile failed to see the line of traffic ahead of him had stopped and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Bruce C. HIRTE, age 77, of Lititz.  No injuries were reported. A summary traffic citation has been filed against the juvenile, alleging a violation of the PA Vehicle Code, section Following Too Closely.

The juvenile is presumed innocent.
