The following roadways in Derry Township remain closed due to the effects of Hurricane Ida:

• Boathouse Rd between SR39 & Sandbeach Rd - flooding
• Bindnagle Rd between SR743 & Lebanon County Line - flooding
• Hanover St between Hersheypark Dr & Canal Rd (S Hanover Twp) - flooding
• Sandhill Rd between Clark Rd & Hill Church Rd - tree limbs on live power lines

There are currently [14] customers without power along Sandhill Rd. Current estimated repair time from PP&L is 3:00pm on 9/3 (Fri).

Although the Swatara Creek appears to be receding at this time, motorists are reminded to be vigilant for standing water while traveling on roadways adjacent to the creek and streams. ###
