Good Afternoon,

On April 17th, 2026, at 11:26am, the Carlisle Borough Police Department (CPD) was dispatched to the 200blk of N College St. in regard to a found dog. This dog was described as a Pitbull puppy, white in color, with brown spots. CPD made contact with the caller at her address, with the puppy. The puppy was skittish, but friendly. CPD took custody of the puppy and it is being held on CPD station.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of the owner, please have them contact the Carlisle Borough Police Department as soon as possible. CPD does not have the capabilities to house stray animals for long periods of time. Normally, by the end of a working shift of 12hrs, and no more than 24hrs, CPD transports the found animal to the Humane Society in Dauphin County.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
