All solicitors are required to wear a permit badge when going door to door.  The days/hours for soliciting are as follows: No soliciting on Sundays; Monday-Friday soliciting is permitted from 10am-6pm.  Solicitors should also obey "No Soliciting" signs that Borough residents have displayed on their property, as long as the sign can be reasonably seen from the approach to the front door. 

Residents should call the Carlisle Borough Police at 717-243-5252 or Cumberland County Dispatch at 717-243-4121 if they believe a solicitor is in violation of the Borough Code.
