A few months ago, Centennial School District adopted the School Bus Safety Program, which is the use of cameras on school buses to capture video and images of vehicles not stopping or going around stationary school buses with active red blinking lights. Violation notices are sent to the offender directly through the mail. Upper Southampton PD has fielded several inquiries regarding the validity of these notices as they are being sent from Boston, MA mailing address. These notices are valid, not a scam, and should be taken seriously as they carry a $300 fine. A copy of a violation notice is pictured showing all content and directions for responding.
