Chief Deputy Matthew Peters has been in law enforcement for fifteen years, starting his career as a Reserve Deputy with the Crawford County Sheriff's Office in 2010.
During that time, he has served as a Corrections Officer, a Deputy Sheriff, a Patrol Sergeant, Detective, and most recently as the Chief Deputy.
Chief Deputy Peters holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Missouri Southern State University in Criminal Justice Administration, and an Associate of Science Degree from Missouri Southern State University in Law Enforcement.
