St. Baldricks - Team Summit
Summit Police Department Officers through their activities with their Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #29 participate in a few fundraising activities for the benefit of very worthy causes. This is one of two that are upcoming and the members would appreciate any support that the community can offer.
TEAM SUMMIT NEEDS YOU!
In 2022 the members of the Summit Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #29 participated in their 7th St. Baldrick’s head shaving team. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds children’s cancer research. To date Team Summit has raised over $74,000 dollars for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation from generous donations from family, friends and businesses from the Summit Community.
How it works: St. Baldrick’s participants pledge to shave their heads in exchange for donations. The members of the department will be participating in a head shaving event at Lockport VFW Post 5788 in Lockport, IL on March 12th. We are asking that you donate to the cause on behalf of our team.
