🎒 School’s Out... But Not Entirely!
The regular school year has ended, but Summer School is in session. A friendly reminder to all drivers that school zone parking restrictions remain in effect. Please continue to follow posted signs to ensure the safety of our students and school staff. Officers will be actively monitoring these areas.
🚧 Village Water Line Work Underway
Water line improvement projects are in progress throughout the Village. All workers associated with these projects will carry proper Village-issued credentials. If someone comes to your door claiming to be a Village employee or contractor and you're unsure of their identity, contact Village Hall for verification or call the Summit Police Department. We will gladly dispatch an officer to confirm their authorization. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priority.
🔄 Traffic Update: New One-Way Streets
Effective June 15, 2025, the following streets will become one-way:
• 73rd Avenue
• 74th Avenue
Please be aware of the change and follow posted signage to avoid confusion or traffic disputes. Officers will initially focus on education and warnings, but will eventually begin issuing citations to repeat violators.
