On the evening of Saturday, October 29, 2022, at approximately midnight officers heard the sounds of possible gunshots in the area of the 5700 block of S. Archer Rd. Officers observed a vehicle fleeing the area at a high rate of speed and attempted to curb the vehicle. The vehicle disregarded police who had their emergency lights and equipment activated in an attempt to stop the vehicle. The vehicle lost control and came to a stop in the City of Chicago where two male subjects were taken into custody and a firearm was recovered. The investigation revealed that the offenders had discharged a firearm and struck some parked unoccupied vehicles. Cook County States Attorneys reviewed the case presented by the officers and felony approval was given to charge the offenders with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Firearm among other misdemeanors and traffic violations. No one was hurt during the incident.

Charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Misdemeanor traffic offenses.
Both Subjects were transported to Bridgeview Courthouse for Bond Hearing.
