Pet licenses can be purchased at the Animal Shelter. All cats and dogs within the City Limits of Cortez must be licensed. Fees for licenses are $10.00 for altered animals and $25.00 for unaltered animals. A current Rabies Certificate is required to acquire a license for your pet.
