Not many professions begin with an oath. A law enforcement officer's oath is a public promise to uphold the Constitution, serve with integrity, protect the lives and rights of others, and place the needs of the community above their own.

Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow officers, Officer Mitchell and Officer Lonien officially took that oath and are continuing their careers serving the Town of Paradise Valley. While this ceremony marks the beginning of their journey with the Paradise Valley Police Department, it also represents the lifelong commitment to honor, courage, professionalism, and selfless service.
