
In order to efficiently respond to requests and manage the employment of off-duty police officers, The Paradise Valley, AZ Police Department has partnered with Off Duty Management to provide services related to hiring off-duty officers effective October 26th, 2024.
You may request to hire off-duty police officers through the Off Duty Management web-based service, OfficerTRAK®, or calling the toll-free number below.
Off Duty Management provides the following to the customer:
RATES:
Minimum of 4 hrs. per request
SUPERVISOR RATE: A supervisor is needed when 5 or more officers are present. The 5th officer is the supervisor.
HOLIDAY RATE*: The holiday rate will apply to the following days: New Year's Eve., New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents' Day, Easter Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Eve (after 5 pm), Thanksgiving Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
EMERGENCY RATE: If request is received less than 48 hours prior to assignment the emergency pay rate goes into effect.
Cancellation: Customer cancelling or reducing an assignment within 24 hours of the start of the assignment shall pay a flat fee of $111.00 to each officer assigned.
Shift Differential: Hours worked between 11pm-7am.
More than 10 hrs: For all positions working consecutively.
