HELP PREVENT VEHICLE CRIMES.  LOCK YOUR CAR.  TAKE YOUR KEYS.  REMOVE YOUR BELONGINGS.

York County Regional Police are investigating numerous reported thefts from vehicles that occurred recently in the Wyndham Hills area of Spring Garden Township, as well as neighboring municipalities.  In all of the incidents, the vehicles were left unlocked. We would remind our residents when leaving your vehicle unattended, LOCK YOUR DOORS, CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS AND REMOVE YOUR KEYS/FOBS, including spares, from your vehicles. Additionally, avoid leaving valuables inside your vehicle where passersby can see them.  Please stay alert for suspicious activity in your neighborhood. if you see someone or something that looks out of place, please contact the police department by dialing 911. 

Be smart.  Be safe.  Don't be an easy target.
