We want to make our community aware of a scam involving unsolicited packages.

An “Amazon brushing scam” occurs when scammers send items you didn’t order using fake accounts created in your name, then post fake “verified purchase” reviews to boost product ratings and sales.

📦 If you receive an unexpected package:
• Do NOT scan any QR codes on the packaging
• Do NOT provide personal information
• Report it to Amazon Customer Service
• If delivered by mail, report it to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service

🔐 Take steps to protect your accounts:
• Change your passwords
• Enable two-factor authentication

While the item may seem harmless, brushing scams can indicate your personal information may have been exposed.
