Stolen Vehicle Information Requested

Details Map

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 9:15 pm, CHVPD officers were near S. University Blvd. and E. Quincy Ave. when they observed a silver Mitsubishi SUV that had been reported stolen approximately an hour earlier in the city of Englewood.  Officers attempted to stop the stolen vehicle, at which time the driver fled onto N. Lynn Rd. and crashed into the ditch along the side of the road.  An unknown male ran on foot from the vehicle and officers gave chase.  After losing sight of the male, a perimeter was established, and assistance was requested from surrounding police agencies.

An exhaustive search was conducted of the area utilizing a drone and multiple police K-9’s from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, however; the male was not located.

The suspect is described as a Black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.

This is an active investigation being led by the Englewood Police Department, and all leads are being reviewed.  Residents are requested to review security cameras for suspicious activity during the evening hours of January 23, with a focus around Lynn Rd.  Photos, video, and information can be submitted via the “Submit A Tip” button below.
