Today, the Bushkill Township Police Department partnered with law enforcement and first responders from across the Lehigh Valley to participate in the Bushkill Township HomeTown Torch Run, benefiting Special Olympics Pennsylvania.

The event was a big success bringing together law enforcement, local businesses, athletes, and community members, raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes in our region. Officers and participants carried the "Flame of Hope" on a two mile run through the Ballas Park Preserve in support of athletes who inspire us all to be "Brave in the Attempt."

A big thank you to the Colonial Academy IU20 for hosting this event!!!

We hope to see everyone next year to support Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
