This weekend, as many of us gather for picnics and parties to kick off the summer season, let's take a moment to reflect on the true significance of the holiday.  Memorial Day is a time to pay tribute to those brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Let's also take a moment to think of friends and family members who have lost loved ones.

The administrative office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25, 2026, however, SARPD Officers are always on duty. If you need assistance or to speak to an Officer- Please call the Monroe County Control Centers Non-Emergency # 570-992-9911 to have an Officer respond to the front of headquarters to speak to you in person, if requested. There is also a telephone to the left side of the front office lobby doors to be used to contact 911 or request an officer for assistance. The phone will automatically connect to the Monroe County Control Center.

The administrative office will re-open for business on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
