The Monroe County Children's Roundtable Presents Community Night 2026. This year's theme is America the Beautiful! This collaborative event is being held at the Northampton County Community College- Pocono Campus in Pocono Hall, on May 5, 2026, from 5-8pm. The event provides information and resources from more than 100 agencies and organizations to families and their children on a variety of topics, including: substance use disorder, mental health, physical health, nutrition, child welfare, education for adults and children, youth programs, our schools and school districts, and support services available to all. There are several presenters from our community, therapy dogs, and hands-on exhibits and programs for kids. A student art contest is underway! All artwork received will be prominently displayed and winners will be announced at Community Night. In addition to the student art exhibit, student musicians will entertain us. All four Monroe County school districts and MCTI will be represented! The Bookmobile and the Bloodmobile will be on hand. There will also be Narcan distribution and training available on-site.
It is FREE to attend, and we encourage everyone to come out and see everything your community has to offer. This is a great time to come interact with all the agencies and become familiar with who they are and what they offer all while building better communication and understanding with the community.
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department will be there with displays and to answer questions, so be sure to stop by and say "Hi!". We hope to see you there!!
