**Update**  The mother of the student notified police that the backpack has been located.  

On April 30, 2026, at approximately 3:02 PM, an 11th-grade student at Williamsport Area High School (WAHS) left her backpack at the bus stop located at Miller Rd. and Eckard Rd. in Hepburn Twp. The backpack, described as a blue furry monster-shaped bag, contained a WAHS Chrome laptop computer, a school calculator, various papers, homework, and perfumes. 

When the student and her mother returned to the bus stop around 4:15 PM, the backpack was gone.
