The Pequea Township Police Department is currently investigating the vandalism of the baseball field at the Silvermine Park.   Earlier this week unknown persons entered the Silvermine Park with a vehicle and intentionally caused extensive damage to the outfield and infield area of the baseball field.  The vehicle involved is believed to be a 2007 - 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 Pickup Truck.   The damage is so extensive that it is unusable by the youth baseball organizations which play and practice there on a regular basis.   A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the identity and successful prosecution of those responsible.   Anonymous tips can be left at www.pequeatownshippd.org or directly thru Lancaster County Crimestoppers at -   Lancaster County Crime Stoppers | Lancaster County (crimewatchpa.com)
