The NLCRPD was requested by the Springettsbury Township Police (York County -PA) to check an address located in the 300 block of Liberty Street in Clay Township for a wanted subject in possession of a stolen vehicle. The subject was to be in the unoccupied residence of a relative. NLCRPD patrols responded to the scene and located the stolen vehicle in the garage of the residence. The wanted subject identified as CHRISTOPHER PALM, age 39, of no fixed address was observed looking out a first-floor window at one of the responding NLCRPD patrol officers. PALM was ordered to come to the door of the home, and he refused to comply with the directions provided by the officers. The entry doors to the home were locked by PALM, and entry was later gained by NLCRPD by use of a key provided by a local keyholder. PALM was taken into custody without further resistance or incident based upon the felony arrest warrant from the Springettsbury Township Police Department. PALM was transported by the NLCRPD and relinquished to the custody of the Springettsbury Township Police for further legal process. The stolen vehicle, a Ford sedan was recovered by the NLCRPD and released to the owner of the vehicle. PALM faces charges related to driving under s DUI related suspended operator’s license as part of the NLCRPD investigation into the matter. A summons will be filed in connection with this offense.
