On June 9, 2020 NLCRPD were called to investigate a class one vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of West Lexington and West Newport Roads involving an overturned vehicle.  The initial investigation revealed that a driver traveling south on West Lexington Road had stopped at a posted stop sign, then continued through the intersection failing to see another vehicle traveling east bound on East Newport Road. A collision occurred and the south bound vehicle overturned. Responding EMS provided medical care to the operators. The south bound driver, Ellie Kielhorn of Lititz, was cited for failing to yield to another vehicle at a stop sign.
