NLCRPD is investigating the attempted entry and theft of items from a parked vehicle during the overnight hours. The reporting party is a resident who captured digital imagery from the scene of the attempted theft.

Suspect is a white male with shoulder length or longer hair. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, pants with a tapered bottom, and light or white colored sneakers undetermined color of the pants or sweatshirt. The male appears to be either in his teens or 20's. The male is observed looking towards the camera. The male is then observed pulling on the driver's side front door with his left hand. The male then puts his right hand on the black trim piece near the B pillar of the door. The male is observed looking into the vehicle.
