NLCRPD was dispatched for a report of a theft of a gun from a vehicle on Chukar Court in Warwick Township. During the overnight hours of 3/14-3/15/22 the NLCRPD received numerous reports of vehicle thefts and thefts of firearms from other unlocked vehicles in this area. The caller indicated he had a handgun stolen from his white GMC Sierra and further stated the vehicle was unlocked. Reporting party indicated he observed his center console and glovebox were open when he came out to his truck this morning. Caller stated that a Smith and Wesson Sigma Series .40 caliber handgun stolen from the center console. The handgun was allegedly hidden at the bottom underneath other items. The handgun was in a black alien holster.

This incident remains under investigation by the NLCPRD Patrol Services unit in conjunction with the NLCRPD Criminal Investigations units.
