NLCRPD Criminal Investigation Unit members have provided several images for public release in an attempt to identify the persons responsible for a series of thefts of parts from parked commercial vehicles.
The NLCRPD is investigating two incidents with suspect(s) who are stealing catalytic coverers from vehicles parked at business facilities. Both of these crimes occurred on February 6, 2021 in the early morning hours.
In the first crime that occurred in East Petersburg Borough at approximately 03:00 hours two suspects entered the parking lot of S. Clyde Weavers located at 5253 Main Street, East Petersburg. Two subjects removed two catalytic converters from a Ford F450 and an Isuzu two box type delivery trucks. The crime was facilitated by utilization of a cordless type Sawzall reciprocating cutting device equipped with a red cutting blade. The suspects were driving a dark colored sedan
On February 6, 2021 at approximately 05:44 hours two suspects entered the parking lot at the Bombergers Hardware Store, located at 555 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz -(Warwick Township). These two suspects removed a catalytic converter from an Isuzu Box delivery truck and left the lot in a dark colored sedan.
Surveillance photos from the scenes appear to indicate the same suspects are involved in this series of crimes.
