December 7, 2022, at 5:51 AM Security personnel discovered that unknown persons had made forceable entry through a fence at the Manheim Auto Auction.  Evidence found on the scene suggested that the suspect(s) were in search of a vehicle or associated vehicle parts.  The NLCRPD and partnering agencies are currently investigating the breach.

The activity reported may be connected to previous vehicle thefts and catalytic converter cases in and around the Lancaster area.  Suspects associated with the thefts may be operating a dark-colored Mercedes AMG GLS Class SUV and or a white BMW X6 with a black hood.
