NLCRPD was dispatched to Regents Dr. Lititz, Pa. for shots fired reporting. Upon arrival the NLCRPD patrol met with the homeowner and was advised that a window to the residence was struck and damaged. Victim stated that she was watching television in the living room with her husband when they heard a loud crack and observed a bullet hole in their window. She stated that her husband ran outside and observed a vehicle driving away. She stated that he jumped in his vehicle in an attempt to stop them. She stated that he forgot his cell phone is unsure of his location. A few minutes later he returned to the residence. He stated that he was unable to get a registration but described the vehicle as a silver color sedan. He was unsure of the make or model. He stated that he eventually caught up to the vehicle on E. Millport in Manheim Township. He stated that he was able to stop the vehicle in the middle of the roadway by pulling in front of them. He stated that he exited his vehicle in order to contact the three occupants but was unable to do so because they all had hoodies on. He stated as the vehicle sped off it struck the back passenger side bumper of his vehicle causing minor damage. On 02/20/2022 at 06:24 hours NLCRPD was dispatched to the area of 198 West Woods Drive in Warwick Township for a recovered firearm. The reporting party stated she found a rifle with a scope. It was to be laying on the side of the road. A NLCRPD patrol responded and found a black Gamo Wildcat Whisper air rifle. It had dirt all over it. NLCRPD patrol ensured it was unloaded. The air rifle shoots 1300 feet per second and uses a .177 PBA alloy pellet. The air rifle was entered as evidence and photographed. The follow up investigation confirmed that the suspect(s) were observed on West Woods Drive and travelled to Landis Valley Road, then Kissel Hill Road before being stopped by the homeowner-victim at the traffic circle at Kissel Hill and West Millport Roads.
