On August 23, 2021 @ 08:56 AM NLCRPD responded for a retail theft that had occurred at Bomberger’s store a few days prior. As seen on video and as reported by the complainant, a male suspect had concealed a Yeti "Colster" worth $24.99 in his shorts and continued to shop in the store. The suspect later went to the checkout counter, paid for a separate item, then left the store failing to pay for the Yeti.   

A follow-up investigation identified the suspect as Brandon BECK of Lititz.  BECK was later charged with retail theft. The offense was classified as a felony because of prior offenses. BECK  was processed, charged, and remanded to Lancaster County Prison to await arraignment.
