On September 26, 2021 @ 8:59 PM NLCRPD Officers responded for the report of an “overdose” that occurred in the 2200 block Old Meadow Court in East Petersburg. On scene it was reported by family that Deion THOMPSON had been consuming alcohol and drugs and has become violent, was breaking things, and making threats to himself and others. THOMPSON left the area on foot.

THOMPSON was located by Police in the vicinity a short time later. NLCRPD officers attempted to place THOMPSON into custody, but he resisted arrest.  THOMPSON was detained and transported to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Charges have been filed for resisting arrest.
