Ice House Hill Rd. CLAY 01/24/2020 at 22;22
Driver #1 Tyler Weaver, 19 of Kleinfeltersville Rd, Stevens driving a Toyota pickup truck
Narrative:
On 1/24/2020, LCWC advised of a motor vehicle accident at the address of Ice House Hill Road and Water St. LCWC advised of an unknown injury accident involving entrapment.
Upon arrival to the location, a red Toyota pickup truck was stopped in a yard on the North side of Ice House Hill Road, roughly twenty yards West of where Water Street intersects with Ice House Hill Road. This vehicle had heavy front-end damage and was disabled.
Upon closer notice, the Patrolman saw the Toyota had run off the roadway and struck several trees, a fence, a garage, and a parked White Buick.
The Officer made contact with the sole occupant and driver, Tyler J. Weaver, age 19 who was being evaluated by EMS as he still sat in the driver’s seat. Weaver suffered scratches to his forehead but was otherwise determined uninjured. While EMS was speaking with Weaver, they did notify the Officer they smelled the strong odor of alcoholic beverage omitting from his breath.
The Officer spoke with Weaver and also smelled this odor of alcoholic beverage omitting from his breath. Weaver was then taken to NLCRPD Headquarters where he would be charged with suspected DUI offenses.
Upon viewing fresh tire/mud marks in the grass, the Officer determined the Toyota had been traveling on Ice House Hill Road, West bound, regardless of how long in this direction, and had run off the roadway at the address of 320 West Church Road. From here the vehicle traveled through ten to twenty yards of grass, all while striking two trees, knocking them to the ground, and striking a fence. From this point the Toyota continued its path and struck a garage and the above said White Buick, then finally coming to a stop. This white Buick sustained heavy front-end damage to its 10 o’clock position. The garage also had heavy damage to the corner that was hit.
Weaver is presumed innocent pending DUI testing results.
