NLCRPD recovered a 2015 Ford Expedition reported as a stolen vehicle from the State of New Jersey. The vehicle is valued more than $27,000.00 The NLCRPD uniformed officer patrol team assigned as part of the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force to the Manheim Auto Auction recovered another stolen vehicle valued at approximately $27,000.00. The vehicle was reported stolen and entered in NCIC/CLEAN by a New Jersey Police Agency. The New Jersey Police Department was notified of the vehicle recovery, and the vehicle was impounded into secure storage until final disposition of the vehicle can be determined. This recovery is part of an ongoing effort between the Manheim Auto Auction (MAA), the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force, the NLCRPD and other key industry stakeholders to reduce theft and insurance fraud.

The vehicle was impounded by the NLCRPD pending further determinations concerning the final disposition of the vehicle.
