The NLCRPD uniformed officer patrol team assigned as part of the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force to the Manheim Auto Auction recovered a stolen vehicle valued at approximately $29,500.00.

The 2017 Audi A4 was reported stolen and entered in NCIC/CLEAN by the Danbury Police Department, Connecticut. The Danbury Police Department was notified of the vehicle recovery, and the vehicle was impounded into secure storage until final disposition of the vehicle can be determined. This recovery is part of an ongoing effort between the Manheim Auto Auction (MAA), the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force, the NLCRPD and other key industry stakeholders to reduce theft and insurance fraud.
