While we face the COVID-19 Pandemic as a community, the first responders are frequently the first contact patients will have outside of their household or immediate family. The public safety groups responding to this pandemic have each made operational determinations to preserve the ability to effectively respond to their core function and role in the public health / public safety chain.

The NLCRPD salutes the EMS responders in our community who are displaying the commitment, courage, and selflessness in the highest traditions of public service. NLCRPD deals with these EMS teams daily on many levels as we face this crisis in a team-based information sharing approach.
