The NLCRPD is in the final stages for the implementation of a hybrid patrol fleet for the agency, with specialized support and administrative vehicles under the same umbrella plan for agency planning and sustainability. The features of this plan include the cost savings for fuel and calculations of carbon savings associated with a hybrid fleet. The patrol fleet roll out is scheduled for Monday, July 20, 2020.
