NLCRPD conducted an in-house active shooter training refresher scenario-based exercise as part of the NLCRPD training cycle. This is the first time the agency has integrated the AXON virtual reality training platform into the training cycle. This VR technology is scenario based and integrates with the NLCRPD body work]n camera and smart weapons systems. This also provides the NLCRPD the capability to measure learning outcomes and officer understandings.
