The NLCRPD arrested a subject related to an indecent exposure call in Warwick Township. At approximately 11:15 pm last evening the NLCRPD received multiple calls for a male exposing himself and engaged in an act of public self-touching or masturbation. Responding NCRPD patrols located the suspect and took him into custody at 11:23 pm. Shortly after the stroke of midnight at 00:00:04 on January 2, the suspect was transported to the NLCRPD Departmental Headquarters for Live Scan arrest booking. Following the booking the subject was released pending filing of charges.

The Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure and the grading of the offense the charges require that charges must be filed at the designated MDJ office, and a summons is issued. The NLCRPD is also seeking a revocation of conditions of probation for the suspect and exploring any potential bail violations that may exist on a previous arrest for a similar offense. Since charges are pending there will be no release of the identity of the offender until the actual filing of the charges in the office of the issuing MDJ.

All suspects are presumed innocent. The NLCRPD urges any residents of the vicinity of North Oak Street in Warwick Township or nearby venues to report any suspicious circumstances of similar behaviors that may have been unreported. To report any offenses of this nature dial 911.
