Reporting party said he received a call from someone claiming to be from READER'S DIGEST. He said the man was asking him about his personal information and he gave it to him. He gave him bank account numbers, credit card numbers and social security numbers. Caller wanted to know what he could do.
NLCRPD advised him to notify his bank and his credit card company provider immediately, as well as. Caller was told to monitor his credit reports to make sure no one tries to open any new accounts.
