An early afternoon fire destroyed an outbuilding and contents located to the rear of a residence in the Borough of East Petersburg. This was at a residence located in the 6300 block of Jackson Street, between the cross Streets of Jefferson and Jeanette Drive. The fire was quickly extinguished by responding fire departments. The fire was reported to fire and police units by a 911 call placed at 13:38 hours. No estimate of loss of contents or damages is currently available.
