On July 10, 2021 @ 9:21 PM NLCRPD was dispatched to the area of West 6th Street and Woodcrest Avenue for the report of a silver Honda Civic that was pulled over in the travel lane of the round-a-bout. The driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Michael SIMPSON of Lititz, was suspected to be operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs / alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI. SIMPSON was taken into custody, processed, and later released at his home. Charges have been filed.
